I have tried updating all the drivers I can find on laptop, i have updated bios, I have tried to even update the drivers/firmware for the port replicator. I am seeing lots of video issues(not displaying, not detected), Ethernet issues (not detected), slow mouse cursor when moving across the screen (USB mouse), etc.
I am having a hell of a time getting these port replicators to work with this laptop. They have a bunch of older monitors that they are still using, some are VGA/DVI like 19". The company relies on their existing port replicators, model WD15. I recently started at a company, first project on my first day was to start deploying the new model of laptop that they had purchased, prior to my hiring.
